SHUTTER SHOCK
The Project

Shutter Shock began as a personal endeavor to reveal the truths of our world through photography. My primary aim was to document climate and conservation issues, particularly the significant challenges facing the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Over four winters in the Arctic, I revisited the same areas, glaciers, and indigenous communities to capture the stories and transformations each year brought. Some of these narratives have significant traction on YouTube, proving that we can make a difference through photography. As I shed light on these issues, new projects and educational opportunities, leading to a global collaboration involving over 300 photographers. This journey has been immensely fulfilling, and my YouTube channel has helped raise awareness for Shutter Shock, attracting brand partnerships and sponsorships that support research and photojournalism. Through the stories we share, I aspire to motivate others to advocate for our planet. For more information, please click the link below to visit the SHUTTERSHOCK WEBSITE.
